when I entered my new classroom, the teacher was writing the lesson plan on the whiteboard. She smiled warmly at me, which immediately made me feel more comfortable.
Throughout the morning, I sat quietly while the teacher was introducing me to the class, and everyone stared at me for a few seconds. During recess, I stood alone for a moment while the other children were playing football, but a friendly girl soon approached me and invited me to join them.
By the time the final bell rang, I was laughing with my new classmates and felt completely relieved. The day passed quickly, and I went home feeling eager to return the next day.
