Pupils played in the school yard a traditional famous greek team game that originates in the past called "apples"

Description: Two children, approximately 15 m apart, are the “outside” children and try to hit the “inside” children with their ball. If the ball hits a child after it has hit the ground then the child is out of the game. However, if the child catches the ball firmly before it hits the ground, then the child wins an “apple”, that is, a “life” and if he is hit, he gives up his “apple” and continues the game. When the last person left in the “inside” group, then the “outside” group has 10 balls to get him out. If they succeed, they win, otherwise the “inside” group wins.

You can try it with your pupils, it is really easy and fun!
