In this lesson you are going to learn about famous landmarks and prepare a digital presentation to present in class.

The lesson is based on the Mini-project: "A famous landmark" that can be found in your Student's Book Unit 1, Lesson 3, p. 19: Different places - different buildings

 

 

Step 1

Use the following google doc to form teams of three to four people and choose the landmark you are going to present.

Step 2

Think about what kind of information you will need to include in your presentation. 

Some examples are:

Where is it?

When was it built?

Who built/designed it?

What is it made of?

What was it built for?

What is it used for today?

What is its most striking feature?

What do you think about it?

Does it avoid the mistakes mentioned in Step Two?

Does it cover the criteria mentioned in Step Three?

 

Step 5

You are going to work on your presentations online on google slides.

All you have to do is to click on the relevant link for each landmark and start editing!
