In this lesson we are going to talk about the environment, learn vocabulary about ecology and recycling, and share our ideas on how to help the environment.

Read what students in other schools did to help the environment. Use the glossary to help you with words you don't know, or use an online dictionary.

Writing practice-Haiku
Practice writing in a playful way; you are going to write a Haiku about nature, the environment and recycling and upload it in our padlet.
What is a HAIKU? A haiku (俳句) is a short Japanese poem, usually about nature.
There are exactly 17 syllables.
Syllables are arranged in 3 lines of
Green meadows, blue skies (5 syllables)
Flowers, birds and butterflies (7 syllables)
Save them and save lives (5 syllables)
