In this lesson you are going to learn about famous landmarks and prepare a digital presentation to present in class.
The lesson is based on the Mini-project: "A famous landmark" that can be found in your Student's Book Unit 1, Lesson 3, p. 19: Different places - different buildings
Step one
Use the following google doc to form teams of three to four people and choose the landmark you are going to present.
Step two
Think about what kind of information you will need to include.
Some examples are:
Where is it?
When was it built?
Who built/designed it?
What is it made of?
What was it built for?
What is it used for today?
What is its most striking feature?
Step three
Some tips on what ΝΟΤ to do when you prepare your presentation:
Step four
Look at the following presentation about the Erechtheion:
What do you think about it?
Does it avoid the mistakes mentioned in Step Three?
Does it cover the criteria mentioned in Step Five?
Step five
You are going to work on your presentations online on google slides.
