Be careful with these adverbs:
1) late - lately = αργά - πρόσφατα
* He always comes late. = πάντα έρχεται αργά
* I haven't seen him lately = Δεν τον έχω δει πρόσφατα
2) hard - hardly = σκληρά/δύσκολα - σχεδόν καθόλου
* He works hard = εργάζεται σκληρά
* I hardly know this guy = Δεν τον ξέρω σχεδόν καθόλου αυτόν τον τύπο
3) near - nearly = κοντά - σχεδόν
* The supermarket is near my house = Το σούπερ μάρκετ είναι κοντά στο σπίτι μου
* I nearly did it = Σχεδόν τα κατάφερα.
4) high - highly = ψηλά - σε μεγάλο βαθμό, υψηλά
* Mark jumps high off the ground. = Ο Μάρκ πηδάει ψηλά από το έδαφος
* kate is highly respected. = Έχουν την Kate σε υψηλή εκτίμηση. ( Η Κέητ χαίρει υψηλής εκτίμησης)
