Because AI models are trained on patterns, they can sometimes "hallucinate" or provide incorrect information. THEY MAKE MISTAKES.Here is how to handle it:

1. The "Fake Country" Check

The chatbot might claim to be from a place like "Zogland" or "Atlantis."

The Fix: If you get a fictional location during Step 1, ask them to "re-roll" the traveler by saying: "That sounds like a fantasy land! Can you pick a real country on Earth for our passport project?"

 

2. Fact-Checking the Capital

In Step 2, the AI might mix up a capital city or give outdated info.

The Fix: Use a physical globe or a trusted map site to verify the AI's answer before you move on to

 

Step 3: The Flag.  AI is a tool. YOU are the final editors!

3. Personality vs. Fact

The activity asks for "Favorite Food". Since AI doesn't eat, it will usually pick a popular dish from its assigned nationality.

The Fix: Let's discuss AI Personas. As you know, AI is "role-playing" a traveler to help you learn, rather than actually having taste buds.

 

4. The "Global Stamp" Review

Before getting the Official Stamp in Step 5, do a quick "Customs Check."

 

• Do the 3 sentences in Step 4 match the data from Step 2?

   

• Is the flag coloured correctly based on the country named?
