Mediterranean countries are blessed with numerous forests which have an amazing biodiversity. Biodiversity means that the forests have plenty of flora (plants) and fauna (animals). In recent years, the presence of trees and animals has been under question due to catasrophic fires which have taken place everywhere in the Mediterranean. Therefore, the climate has changed and there are plenty of floods and really hot summers all over the Mediterranean. So, how can we solve this big problem? What can we do to change the current situation? Hiring more forest rangers who will be walking around the forests in order to trace how the fires are created is one solution. Another solution is for the residents of the Mediterranean countries to be very careful when they go for walks or picnics in the forests so as not to leave any rubbish behind. Planting trees in the burnt areas is a third solution. If the governments and citizens of the Mediterranean countries try these methods, it is likely that the climate will change for the better. It's up to the people to make a change. Let's try our best.
