Kostas 12 (Lamia). Kostas was sitting at the back of the school bus driver when all of a sudden the driver had a heart attack and the bus was out of control. Kostas jumped on the driver's seat and stopped the bus by pushing the brakes. He saved all his schoolmates.

Joanna 11 (Olympus). Joanna went on a hike with her mother to Olympus mountain and in the middle of the hike the mother had an accident on her right foot. Joanna ran 4 kilometres to the nearest point where she could find help. She saved her mother that day.

Maria 10 (Zakynthos). Maria was on holiday with her family in Zakynthos and one day she and her brother who was four at the time went to the pier to look at the sea. Her brother fell in the sea and in order to save him she fell in the water too. She managed to drag him out in the shore and all went well.

My daughter was really brave. I would have died if it wasn't for her.

I didn't realise what was happening to me. If it wasn't for the young boy, we would have died.

I still don't understand how I fell in the water. My sister was my guardian angel.
